Need a boiler repair?

Our boiler repair service covers any and all boiler issues you may be experiencing from breakdowns to low pressure and leaks.

LW Plumbing & Heating Services tend to all boiler-related issues. However, here are some of the common issues that most frequently occur. Being aware of the signs can help with spotting problems early and getting them fixed by a professional before the situation worsens. Here are some of the signs to look out for:

Heating or hot water not working

There are many failure points that could cause your central heating system to stop working. For example, a problematic thermostat or low pressure within your system. We know how frustrating it can be when your boiler stops working. The good news is that issues such as these are often easy to diagnose and repair by our Gas Safe Registered engineer.

Radiators not heating up

This is a very common call-out issue, especially in the winter months. A partially hot radiator does not do a very good job of heating your home. Patches of cold on your radiator can be indicators of sludge build-up within your boiler system, circulation problems, or blockages/air pockets within your system. If bleeding your radiators is not solving the issue then it’s definitely time to call out a heating engineer.

Gurgling or rattling noise coming from your boiler

Normal operating noises such as a quiet low pitched humming sound are completely normal for a boiler. If you notice that these sounds get louder or any other unfamiliar noise coming from your boiler, it may be time to call in a professional. Strange noises such as banging, gurgling or ‘kettling’ sounds can indicate broken pumps, low pressure or a multitude of other issues.

It's always a good idea to get in touch with a Gas Safe Registered engineer as soon as you notice an issue with your boiler. Some issues if left can end up causing further damage to your boiler system. Our friendly repair service is designed to diagnose your boiler fault and get you back up and running.
